Soft soled baby shoes

Ella's comment to me is that "they are certainly pretty, mommy!" So sweet. That's all the compliment I need.

Those are absolutely adorable!!! Did you put anything on the bottoms for traction, or is that not necessary yet? I might have to try these for myself, someday! I am like you as well and start projects that never seem to get completed. I did finish one project that I've been working on, off and on, for the past year and a half. I'll maybe post pictures on my blog one of these days!

Oh these are just adorable. Ella was right!
What kind of material did you use? I finally bought a pair of Robeez for Jack and love love love them...so to think of making a cute pair is awesome. I'm also interested in what you used for the bottom. I'm going to check out that link.

LOVE the brown polka dots.

Add it to your etsy list! :)

...OK, just checked out the link. See, you're SO GOOD!!! I would have looked at that link and said...YEAH RIGHT! THOSE THINGS LOOK TACKY!!! (no pun intended!) But you created them so adorably! Your a great visionary!! Way to go. Looks like they used leather for the sole!? Is that what you did?

J and E- I used flannel for these. I'll use it to line the next ones I make. I do have some leather (from a nice friend at church) to use next. Since these were the test I didn't put money or much creative effort into them. No, there's nothing non-slip on the bottom (which isn't good on our wood floors!). They were great on the carpeted nursery floors last night though!

E- did you check out the photo gallery on that site? the pics other people submitted were MUCH cuter than the "tacky" ones. :)

These are super super cute! I intended to make some of this type shoe for Aaron but it just never happened. I did get a great tip that you can find leather to repurpose at thrift store in the form of leather pants, skirts, jackets, etc. I got a long brown leather skirt to make into shoes for about $2. Of course, I haven't actually USED it yet, so I guess that is a wasted $2 for now. :-)
