I have been forgetting to take pictures this season! Here a couple though. This is one of the table runners I turned in recently.
This pile of scraps , believe it or not, is garland that I sell. For some reason this garland sells well at the CB. Here in Minnesota most everyone you meet will tell you that they "have a cabin up north". I'm not sure exactly what this "up north" means, but everyone here goes there for some rest and relaxation every chance they get. This raggy stuff is perfect for the Northwoods lover! It's not my style, but I've definitely found what sells here! These are all of my leftover scraps from quilts. I sew them in whatever order or fashion I grab them with a zig-zag stitch onto a long piece of jute. it's takes about 20 minutes to do and is free to make and sells for $12! The first time I made this I was almost embarrassed to turn it in and the owner bought it before putting it out on the floor and she asked me to make more. yeah!

Beth, your runners are just gorgeous!!! I like this one and I really like the Christmas one you did I think last year.
That's pretty funny about making your scraps useful! I can see that being a great item for the "country cabin" look that A LOT of people go for. That's great!
I really wish I could come over to your house and see you at work because your stuff always looks so awesome! I think I need to refresh how you make your quilts because I really like those runners! Keep up the good work!
janelle- well... one of these days/ weeks/ years (lol) I'm really gonna post a tutorial about these quilts. It's so easy that I should be ashamed by your nice comments!
Easy to some people maybe! There may be some lagistical things that need explaining though!
It may take you a while to post the tutorial, but it would probably take me at least twice as long to actually sit down and try it for myself - so don't feel so bad! :)
Hello! I've just discovered your blog and am so happy! You are very talented! I can't wait to read some more!
