thanks Janelle- yes, it was fun and YES, we'll have to do it again! hey- btw I don't mind sending you one if you send me some money for shipping. would that be easier than you trying to make your own? I could also send you a "pattern" (well, nothing official, but I could draw the shape on a piece of paper!) You do need to start now putting stuff in Megan's hair so that she'll just get used to it and not pull it out.
I might have to do that Beth, but probably not until after we are moved. I think I might try it for myself once we get there and get settled a little bit. We'll see how that turns out and then go from there! By the way, that's great advice to put things in her hair now so that she won't pull them out later! I have a friend whose little girl pulls EVERYTHING out that she tries! I've tried those silly little headbands at Wal-Mart, but they are just too tight on Megan's head so it's going to definitely have to be something "homemade"! A friend of mine also gave me the tiniest little clips that I've put into her hair too, which are so cute, but her hair is so fine and there is so little of it right now that I'm going to have to wait a little while on those. I'll figure something out, even if it's just tying a simple ribbon around her head! I'll let you know what I come up with!
YAY for Carrie. She totally deserves it...being pregnant with her 3rd boy!!! She needs to keep as much girliness in her fam as possible!!! :) We should start some kind of "regular" giveaway or swap. OK, nothing official and not promising anything, but sounds good, doesn't it!!! :)
LOVE that red teapot too!!! Is that up for a giveaway?? :) JK
erin- NO! I love my red teapot! I bought it for 10 cents at a thrift store way back in high school. I saw the same one (same Poland stamp on the bottom) in an antique store for $48! YAY! I'd be up for some giveaways!
I just got my headband today...it is super cute. I love brown! I'm thinking about growing my hair out so hopefully I'll be using it often...now and then..Thanks so much!
