Leah- First of all, it's just machine quilting. I would never have time or patience for the real deal. Second, I "learned" to quilt by just doing it. I'm still learning. My mom was always sewing when we were little. I would sit beside her and handstitch buttons and bits of fabric onto things. So, she's my inspiration and everytime I have a question I know who to call! 1-800-help me mom!
I love watching America's Test Kitchen on PBS on Sat. at 11:00-when we can get reception with our rabbit ears! I'm going to look for that book on e-bay! So, noone bid against me!
